Ontario Technical Manager Position Overview The Ontario Technical Manager participates in all aspects of the technical production process, from problem-solving and team coordination to the implementation of technical initiatives. They utilize their expertise in technology trends and business management to mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the technical team towards achieving the organization's goals. The Sr. Technical Manager is results-driven and will need to ensure his teams are efficiently delivering the company promise (QVALIT) to its customer base and technical staff. Position type The Ontario Technical Manager is a full-time, permanent position that requires full-time on-site work in a corporate office setting. Job Location: Greater Toronto Area Key Responsibilities Leading and managing technical teams. (Hiring, Onboarding, Training, Evaluating) Implementing technical projects according to the company roll-out plan. Tracking performance trends Ensuring quality assurance Continuous technical improvement. Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Mentoring and supporting team members in their professional development and technical skill enhancement. Reporting on project progress and team performance to senior management while providing insights for strategic decision-making. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols. Skill Requirements Project management Team leadership Budgeting Risk management. Strong auto glass technical background Interpersonal and communication skills Leadership Problem-solving skills Travel Requirements This position may require occasional travel to various locations, including but not limited to client sites, conferences, and corporate events. Candidates should be prepared for travel approximately 6 days per calendar month and/or up to 25% of the time as needed. All travel expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy. Compensation Salary $80 000 per year
