Job Description Looking for an exceptional pharmacy opportunity in Greater Sudbury? We are seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist to join a busy and well-supported pharmacy in the Greater Sudbury area of Ontario. With compensation of CAD $85–$90/hour all-in, comprehensive benefits, vacation time, performance bonuses, professional registration and liability insurance reimbursement, and a strong pharmacy support team, this is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for both exceptional compensation and a well-structured practice environment. The Staff Pharmacist schedule would include: Two evening shifts per week: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM; Every second weekend; Pharmacist overlap available Monday–Wednesday. The schedule is designed to provide consistent full-time hours while maintaining strong pharmacy support during the busiest periods. About the Pharmacy This is a high-volume pharmacy environment, processing approximately 3,000 prescriptions per week. Despite the volume, you'll be supported by a substantial pharmacy team, typically including: Approximately 10 pharmacy assistants; 2 Registered Pharmacy Technicians; Pharmacist overlap Monday–Wednesday; PropelRx digital workflow system. This means you can focus on your professional responsibilities and patient care rather than carrying the entire operational workload yourself. Clinical & Professional Opportunities The pharmacy provides exposure to a broad range of pharmacy services, including: Methadone services; Non-sterile compounding – Level B; Prescription verification and clinical assessment; Medication counselling and patient education; Collaboration with other healthcare professionals; High-volume community pharmacy practice. This is an excellent environment for a pharmacist who enjoys a fast-paced practice setting with strong technical support and meaningful clinical responsibility. Your Responsibilities Review and verify prescriptions accurately and safely Assess medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions Provide medication counselling and clinical recommendations Support methadone-related pharmacy services Participate in Level B non-sterile compounding activities Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and healthcare professionals Ensure compliance with Ontario pharmacy regulations and professional standards Contribute to patient safety and quality improvement Maintain accurate patient records using PropelRx Provide excellent patient-focused care What We're Looking For Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Strong community pharmacy experience Excellent clinical and medication knowledge Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Experience with methadone is an asset Experience with non-sterile compounding is an asset Experience with PropelRx is an asset Relocation Support For candidates relocating to the Greater Sudbury area, moving expense reimbursement may be considered depending on the circumstances.
