Job Description As a Pier Solutions Bridge Craftsperson, your core goal is to uphold the highest level of professionalism on all sites, demonstrating teamwork, integrity, service, quality, and a hard work ethic in all your interactions with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients. Your project responsibilities include the following: Performing general labour on construction sites, including operation of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment Identifying creative construction methods to complete work requirements efficiently Assisting the site lead in ensuring that all work meets quality standards and project specifications Working with project managers to maintain on-site documentation, including site safety records, hazard assessments, and daily job-site logs Maintaining all tools and equipment used on site and ensuring that materials and supplies are available as needed Providing mentorship and support to the less experienced craftspeople on your team Pier Solutions values promoting individuals from within. Other Requirements Ability to work on the road in Manitoba and Saskatchewan Class 5 license is required Class 3 or 1A license, or the willingness and ability to obtain them, is required Heavy equipment experience is an asset Ability to lift 50 lbs Our Mission Bridges in rural Manitoba and Saskatchewan are being replaced instead of repaired or neglected instead of maintained, adding undue cost to taxpayers.
