Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Property Condition Assessment / Building Science and Sustainability team in Richmond. This new role reports to the Operations Manager. Department Overview Pinchin’s Property Condition Assessment / Building Science and Sustainability team delivers practical capital planning assessments and science-based solutions that enhance building owner’s preparedness for the future and improve building performance, durability, and resiliency. Our multidisciplinary experts collaborate on assessments, restoration, and design projects to help clients protect assets, manage risk, and extend the life of their buildings. Your Role and Action: Property Condition Assessments Depreciation Reports Conducting visual site assessments Technical report writing Liaising with clients and contractors Preparing proposals Business development with existing and new clients What You’ll Bring to Pinchin Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Architectural Technology or equivalent experience Sound construction knowledge / understanding of various building systems in Canadian real estate development context Experience conducting Baseline Property Condition Assessments in accordance with the ASTM2018-24 "Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments" would be an asset Commercial Building Inspector experience is an asset Developing Depreciation Reports experience is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) A valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) For Current Employees Current employees are encouraged to speak with their HR Advisor for information on the application process.
