Job Description Job Title: Branch Manager Reporting to: Regional Manager Classification: Full Time Status: Exempt ____________________________________________________________________________ Purpose Direct the day-to-day activities of a Pine facility to deliver outstanding customer service, exceptional equipment quality, and achieve/exceed rental and sales revenue targets. Demonstrate strong leadership skills while managing branch operational processes and procedures, equipment rentals, revenue growth and profitability, and maintain a safe work environment. What You'll Do Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure all functions are performed competently and efficiently, set clear expectations for performance, and evaluate results Manage and coach team members for success and empower them to make good business decisions Engage in staff activities and hold staff accountable for delivering results Create a professional workplace and model acceptable behavior Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and create a safety culture within the site based on education, organization/housekeeping, and PPE requirements Maintain an efficient, clean, and organized branch Ensure all equipment meets Pine quality standards Confirm that customers are receiving clean, calibrated, and working equipment Follow operations workflow procedures from order through delivery and returns through invoicing Maximize equipment utilization Confirm compliance with all company state and federal policies and procedures Support other locations with equipment or other services Primary after-hours contact for the location Ensure excellent customer experience through each key touchpoint Deliver exemplary service and quality products Monitor and lead proactive customer satisfaction efforts Partner with other departments as internal customers to achieve goals Resolve any discrepancies that impact customer satisfaction Ensure rental and sales revenue goals are achieved Follow up on new and expanded business opportunities and identify new revenue channels Focus on customer retention methods Perform other duties, as assigned or required What You Bring Traditional qualities of good attitude, behavior, management practices required Technical and customer-centric focus required Clean driving record Analytical thinker with a solution orientation Emotional Intelligence Profit and loss experience a strong plus Proactive approach with a high sense of urgency to succeed Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective leadership, motivational, and organizational skills Demonstrated success leading people Basic mechanical aptitude Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in environmental testing, operations management, customer-focused commercial or retail management required Three to five years of experience in one of the disciplines above required in addition to the degree requirements Experience as a consultant in environmental testing, environmental industry and/or NDT/NDE experience preferred Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry highly preferred Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off RRSP match A stable, growing company with opportunities to learn the environmental and rental services industry Environment This is a safety-sensitive position. Fast-paced office and warehouse environment with some field travel by car or air for meetings, training, and customer visits. Essential Functions This position is 30% sedentary and 70% active and may include activities such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, and climbing (ladder). Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted and requires the ability to drive a Pine vehicle.
