Marine Service Advisor Join the Team at Grand Harbour Marina 150 Laguna Parkway, Brechin (Lagoon City), Ontario Grand Harbour Marina is one of Lake Simcoe's premier full-service marinas, offering exceptional customer service, professional marine repairs, storage, and maintenance for vessels of all sizes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Marine Service Advisor to become an integral part of our service department. Key Responsibilities As our Marine Service Advisor, you will be the primary liaison between our customers and our marine service team. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and discussing repair and maintenance requirements Creating detailed service work orders and repair estimates Scheduling service appointments and coordinating workflow with marine technicians Ordering, sourcing and tracking marine parts and accessories Maintaining strong relationships with marine suppliers and manufacturers Following up on parts availability and delivery timelines Providing customers with repair updates and estimated completion dates Preparing invoices and ensuring accurate documentation of all repairs Coordinating warranty claims where applicable Assisting with seasonal commissioning and winterization scheduling Managing service records and customer history Working closely with the Harbour Master, technicians and management to ensure efficient shop operations Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional, positive attitude Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Marine Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Marine Technician or in a similar marine service role Strong knowledge of marine parts, systems, accessories, and inboard and outboard engines Knowledge of MerCruiser, Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Suzuki and other major marine brands is considered an asset Excellent organizational, planning and multitasking abilities Strong computer skills and experience with work order, inventory and service management systems Outstanding communication and customer service skills A self-starter who takes initiative, identifies priorities, and works proactively with minimal supervision Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technicians and the marina team Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities can change quickly Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in work orders, parts ordering, scheduling and customer communication Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills A positive, professional attitude with a genuine passion for boating and customer service We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Professional, supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within one of Ontario's fastest-growing marina operations Beautiful waterfront workplace on Lake Simcoe Employee discounts and marina perks Apply Today Send your resume to: [email protected] Or contact us: 705-558-9533 Grand Harbour Marina 150 Laguna Parkway Brechin (Lagoon City), Ontario Join a team that's passionate about boating, committed to exceptional service, and dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences on and off the water.
