Permanent Full-Time shifts: ● 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Sunday to Friday or Monday to Friday) The Pizza Pizza distribution center is situated at 500 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, Ontario, M8Z 5E5. Compensation and Professional Benefits: * The standard rate of pay is $20.00 per hour (for 40-44 hours per week), complemented by a $1.00 per hour night shift premium. * Comprehensive health benefits are available following six months of employment, with the organization subsidizing 80% of the costs. * Team members are entitled to two weeks of paid annual leave. * Six paid sick days are provided annually * Participation in corporate seasonal events, such as summer luncheons. * Opportunities for internal career progression and professional development. Key Accountabilities: * Efficiently fulfill customer orders and prepare pallets for distribution. * Secure cargo using industrial wrapping materials. * Execute the loading and unloading of transport vehicles. * Adhere strictly to all established organizational policies and operational protocols. * Ensure the maintenance of a hygienic and orderly work environment. * Undertake additional professional duties as assigned by management. * Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against accompanying invoices. * Document inventory discrepancies and manage the rejection of damaged merchandise. Required Qualifications: * Possess exceptional verbal communication and active listening abilities. * Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English. * Proven ability to thrive within a high-velocity operational environment. * Physically capable of manually lifting weights between 50 and 60 lbs. * Collaborative mindset with a strong orientation toward achieving results. * Valid forklift certification and relevant industrial experience. Environment and Conditions: * Operations involve periodic exposure to refrigerated and sub-zero storage units; professional uniforms are provided. * Adherence to high standards of personal hygiene is required; jewelry is prohibited for safety reasons. * Successful candidates must possess independent and reliable transportation to the workplace. * The use of certified safety footwear is a mandatory requirement. * Current and valid forklift licensure is required.
