Role Description The Mechanical Foreperson is a full-time, on-site role based in the GTA. This position is responsible for leading mechanical crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. The Mechanical Foreperson oversees installation of the of equipment, interprets drawings and plans, and meets project schedules. This role monitors site conditions, identifies and resolves issues, and collaborates closely with general contrators, project managers, and sub contractors. The Mechanical Foreperson also supports quality control, and enforces safety procedures. Qualifications Previous e xperience as a foreperson Strong supervisory skills, including crew leadership, task delegation, and on-site coordination. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders. Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes related to mechanical work. Proven commitment to health and safety practices and regulatory compliance on job sites. Ability to work on-site in the GTA, adapt to changing project needs, and manage multiple priorities.
