Toronto, ON Full-time Anesthesiology PMC-2026-009 About The Role Plano Medical Center is expanding its procedural services and seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position involves administering anesthesia and sedation for endoscopic procedures, minor surgeries, and pain management interventions at our Toronto clinic. You will work closely with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and nursing staff to deliver safe, efficient perioperative care in a modern, patient-focused facility. Key Responsibilities Administer general, regional, and procedural sedation for endoscopy suites and minor OR cases Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage post-anesthetic recovery Respond to intraoperative complications and manage airway emergencies Collaborate with the clinical team on sedation protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement Provide acute and chronic pain management consultations as needed Qualifications & Requirements MD degree with FRCPC in Anesthesiology (or equivalent international certification) Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience in procedural sedation for endoscopy or ambulatory surgery is an asset Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and internationally trained physicians welcome) Why Anesthesiology at Plano Medical Center?
