Toronto, ON Full-time Pediatrics PMC-2026-003 About The Role Plano Medical Center is expanding its pediatric services and seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide primary and consultative pediatric care for patients from birth through age 18, working in a modern, child-friendly clinic environment with full administrative and nursing support. Our primary care physicians frequently refer pediatric patients in-house, giving you a steady and growing patient base from day one. You will collaborate closely with family physicians, on-site lab services, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, whole-family care across the Greater Toronto Area. Key Responsibilities Conduct well-child visits, growth monitoring, and developmental screening (Rourke, Nipissing) Administer and manage childhood immunization schedules per Ontario's publicly funded program Diagnose and treat acute pediatric illnesses (respiratory infections, ear infections, febrile illness, etc.) Manage chronic pediatric conditions including asthma, eczema, ADHD, and allergies Provide adolescent health services including mental health screening and anticipatory guidance Collaborate with family physicians, specialists, and community resources for coordinated care Qualifications & Requirements MD degree with FRCPC in Pediatrics, or CCFP with significant pediatric experience Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification Experience with newborn care, developmental assessments, and childhood behavioural health Warm, empathetic communication style with children and their families Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and internationally trained physicians welcome) Why Pediatrics at Plano Medical Center? Exigences
