Machine Operator - Continental Night Shift

WE’RE HIRING! * Continental Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am * Starting Salary: $21.00 base pay ($1.50 night shift premium) * Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks * Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday * Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday * Straight night shift, no rotation * Unionized environment BENEFITS * Cultivating people centric environment * Professional growth opportunities * Company paid comprehensive group benefits plan; including medical, dental, vision and life insurance * Paid breaks * Company sponsored social events RESPONSIBILITIES * Work as a team to achieve production, quality and safety goals * Operate production equipment including; mixers, production presses, cylinder presses, peeling machines, rewinding machines, convoluters, laminators, die cut, regrind and screening line * Read and follow all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the products being run * Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced * Complete required documentation (e.g., production reports, pre-shift inspections, etc.) * Report production activities & place products into designated inventory bins in the ERP system * Review products for quality and conformance standards and report issues to the supervisor * Complete hand-off to the subsequent shift, with a focus on production concerns and crucial work instructions * Operate forklift safely, if assigned and upon successful completion of training * Operate overhead bridge crane safely, if assigned and upon successful completion of training * Any other tasks as required QUALIFICATIONS * At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent * Lift up to 25 kgs on a repetitive basis * Stand for 12-hour shifts * Clear criminal record check required

Operate various production machinery including mixers, presses, and laminators to meet quality and safety goals. Responsible for documenting production activities in the ERP system and ensuring proper material labeling and hand-offs.

Requires at least one year of manufacturing experience and the ability to stand for 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 kgs repetitively and pass a criminal record check.
