Job Description To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria: Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship. Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship. Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date. What You’ll Do Lead the comprehensive bid process with a commitment to precision and excellence. Employ research expertise to identify project-specific pricing for labor, equipment, and materials. Skillfully interpret technical specifications for accurate and meticulous bidding. Execute thorough quantity take-offs, guaranteeing precision in contract specifications and pricing. Foster a client-centric approach, aligning proposed bids with project feasibility. Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients. Provide valuable assistance to the team, actively contributing to a collaborative office environment. What You Bring Must be currently enrolled in a recognized Engineering or Construction Management degree or diploma program. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Qualities such as versatile, curious, meticulous, and eager to actively participate. Passion for the construction industry.
