As a Project Coordinator working in our Major Projects team at Pomerleau Construction, you manage several activities and deadlines to gain a clearer picture of client, team and project needs. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will play a crucial role in the successful management of stakeholder communications, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks. The Arctic Over-the-Horizon Radar Project (A-OTHR) is a major Canadian infrastructure and defence initiative that will play a vital role in strengthening the country's security and surveillance capabilities for generations to come. As a key partner on this project, Pomerleau is helping deliver innovative infrastructure through a collaborative Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model alongside industry-leading organizations. Together, the team is designing and building the facilities that will support one of the most advanced radar systems in North America. This is a rare opportunity to join a project of national significance, where your work will contribute to a lasting legacy of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. What You Will Do Provide project coordination and administrative support to the project team with a strong attention to detail. Foster open communication among team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients while delivering exceptional client service. Review, interpret, and maintain construction schedules, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date. Coordinate and track shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotations, and project closeout documentation. Review, collect, and analyze project quotations to help secure the most competitive pricing available. Prepare, compile, and maintain company-wide project reports for assigned projects. Promote and support project-specific safety standards while championing Pomerleau's HS&E programs, applicable occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes on site. This Role Could Be For You If You Have 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry. A university degree or technology diploma in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Demonstrated experience in project coordination and collaborative teamwork. A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
