We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team! Job Description As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you have the authority to exceed guest expectations by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that coincides with our “we’ve been expecting you” sense of arrival for our guests. Your role is very important because you are your team's leader, teacher, and role model. Additionally, you will lead your people to make business decisions that are focused on upholding the highest standards in guest service while delivering against key financial goals and performance metrics. Key Focuses Ensures the restaurant, public areas, server stations, and storage areas are “picture perfect” for optimal first impressions. Provides direct reports with the resources, direction, coaching, and feedback required for their continuous development. Maintains high standards of guest service by monitoring staff, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring efficient service delivery. Welcomes guests entering the restaurant in a prompt and courteous manner. Develops excellent product knowledge about the menu and feature items and can answer any inquiry. Ensures responsible service of both food and alcohol. Follows all local and provincial health & safety, food handling, alcohol service and video lottery terminal laws. Experience/Passions/Education 6 months of hands-on experience in a serving position. Tech savvy. Previous supervisory experience is an asset. ProServe certification is required. Working Conditions This position may work dayshift, afternoon, or evening shift any day of the week or weekend with long days to meet periodic upturns in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced and, at times, high-pressure environment that requires continuous physical movement, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and the ability to manage multiple sequences and demands. There may be periods of independent work and changes in temperature from the back to the front of the house. Exigences
Requires at least 6 months of serving experience and a mandatory ProServe certification. Previous supervisory experience and tech-savviness are considered assets.
