Position Summary We’re growing and we’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who’s excited to make an impact! Reporting to the EE Manager as part of our Electrical Engineering team, you’ll own designs from concept to production, partner with service and manufacturing teams, and watch your work come to life on remote coastal sites across the globe. What we offer: * Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 DOE * Benefits: Company paid benefits * Company Matching RRSP * 3 weeks vacation Key Responsibilities * Design & Documentation – Produce schematics, wiring harness drawings, control‑panel layouts, and BOMs across the product lifecycle * Prototype & Validate – Build prototypes, run simulations, create test plans/scripts, and field‑test equipment at remote sites * Automation & Controls – Program and commission PLC/HMI systems; integrate sensors, VFDs, motors, generators, compressors, pumps, and oxygen systems; connect systems to cloud dashboards for remote monitoring * Troubleshooting & Support – Diagnose issues in PLCs, sensors, PCBs, and networks; work with production, service, and applications teams to improve manufacturability * R&D & Product Development – Research new components, develop next-generation products, and participate in design reviews to enhance performance and reduce cost * Travel – Visit remote sites for commissioning and troubleshooting as needed Qualifications * Diploma/B.Eng. in Electrical or related field * 5+ years of relevant experience * Excellent understanding of electronic principles and industrial electronics * Excellent troubleshooting ability * Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities * Organized, self-motivated, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously * Driver’s license Assets: * Industrial design for manufacturing * Mixed‑Signal PCB Design – Layout and testing * Embedded & Test Automation – Firmware in C/C++, scripting in Python * 24 VDC industrial control systems and protective circuitry * Industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Profinet, Ethernet IP, etc) * Basic networking knowledge (LAN, DHCP, Static/Dynamic IP) * Harsh‑Environment Design – Salt‑spray, IP66/NEMA 4X enclosures, corrosion control
