As part of our dedicated team in Cayuga, Canada, you will play a vital role in assembling high-quality products that serve customers across the food service and retail industries. Cayuga Displays is looking for applicants for a position in our production team. We are looking for an open-minded person to be able to work in our woodworking shop but also open to working on our refrigerated showcases as needed. We pride ourselves on our top core value: “We believe people are important and want to help them succeed.” Key responsibilities include: Assemble refrigerated showcases or food bars according to engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly procedures. Assembly includes working with sheet metal parts, wiring, and working with glass. Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to company standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise during assembly or testing and implement appropriate solutions. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for product improvement and optimization. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. This posting reflects a current hiring need for our client. Ability to read and follow drawings Ability to work with small hand tools, power tools, sliding tables saws and other cutting equipment Laminating Basic assembly of wood and/or metal products Problem solving skills and detail minded Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment Willing to work overtime when needed Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Competitive hourly wage of $17.60–$21.00 Typical hours 6:30am – 5:00pm Monday–Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays as needed Year-round employment opportunity Training and advancement opportunities within a reputable and always growing company. Candidates should have the ability to read technical drawings and operate various hand and power tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
