EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT Al-Amal Academy, Calgary Competition #PLSD-2265 This position is currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. August 18th, 2026 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. We are currently looking for a responsible, hardworking individual with a passion for supporting students within the classroom. You will display flexibility, patience, sensitivity, enthusiasm, creativity and imagination. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment. This is a full-time, temporary maternity leave position (1.0 FTE) requiring 30 hours per week beginning August 26, 2026. Al-Amal Academy is located in North West Calgary and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta curriculum. Al-Amal Academy is a K-9 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language, computer science and sports groups.
