Company Overview Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. Job Summary We are currently seeking an in-person primary/junior level tutor able to work for the full 2026/2027 academic school year (September to June). As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized support and guidance in their academic pursuits. Tutoring sessions take place in students' homes or at a local public library. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to helping students succeed throughout the academic year. Join our team and make a positive impact on the next generation of learners! Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress. Qualifications And Skills We are looking for teachers or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria: Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching. Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum. Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is preferred. Committed to providing excellent customer service. Enjoy working with students and families. Great communication skills. Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle are preferred. Available for In-Person tutoring in student's home or public libraries. Available to commit to tutoring assignments for the full 2026/2027 academic school year (September to June). Openings in Aurora, Richmond Hill, King City, Markham & Newmarket areas. A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria: You hold registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. You are qualified to teach in a Ontario. You are a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education. You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian or US University or College.

Exigences
