<strong>Be part of a dynamic team!</strong><br><p><span>Regular full-time position (unionized)<br></span><span>Workplace: L?Orignal<br></span><span>Schedule: 40 hours/week</span><span> <br></span><span>Hourly rate: $29.14</span></p><p>Under the direction of the Building Maintenance Supervisor, the Building Mechanic is primarily responsible for minor repairs inside and outside the building located at 59 Court Street in L'Orignal, but may also be required to work in other Corporation buildings. The incumbent must ensure that the assigned building is well maintained, clean, sanitary, and safe.</p><p><strong>Closing date:</strong> <strong>4:00 p.m., April 3, 2025</strong></p> <br> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma;</li><li>Diploma or post-secondary certificate (one school year) in a related field such as building maintenance, construction, millwright, plumbing, ventilation heating and air conditioning (HVAC) or equivalent experience;</li><li>Ability to communicate easily in French and English (oral and written);</li><li>Must be able to use work tools and equipment;</li><li>Have knowledge and understanding of WHMIS;</li><li>Willing to work evenings and weekends as required;</li><li>Be able to identify the products used and maintain material safety data sheets on site;</li><li>Ability to interpret instructions, laws, codes, regulations and construction plans.</li></ul><p><strong><em>A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested)</em><em> and is a condition of employment.</em></strong></p>
