About Preszler Injury Lawyers: Preszler Injury Lawyers was established in 1959 by its founder, Robert P. Preszler. For over 60 years, the Preszler Injury Lawyers has restricted its practice to claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, product liability, sexual assault, wrongful dismissal, accident benefits, disability claims and medical malpractice. Preszler Injury Lawyers only represents Plaintiffs. Position Overview: Our Personal Injury law firm is actively seeking Legal Assistants with Accident Benefits experience. You will work directly with our Lawyers and Paralegals. This is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities: Completion and submission of all OCF forms Regular communication with clients and adjusters for advocation of benefits Written correspondence with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel Handling incoming correspondence at the direction of the assigned lawyer Preparing LAT Applications and LAT Case Conference Summary Requesting medical records via Medchart - Section 33, EUO etc. Tracking outstandings, approvals, denials Notifying client of upcoming IEs Diarizing/calendarizing Case Conferences, LAT hearings, production deadlines Reviewing medicals, accident benefits files Qualifications: Prior Accident Benefits experience, gained in a personal injury law firm and/or a medical/rehab clinic setting is required Strong client-service mindset with a genuine focus on advocacy and professionalism Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and supports colleagues as needed Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and motivated to develop in the role We offer full training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement to those eager to learn and grow in the legal field.
