Résumé du poste
Prima CARE is a 180-provider, physician-owned multispecialty group, based in Fall River, Massachusetts, currently employing more than 50 advanced practice providers. We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the office practice of Board-certified Rheumatologist. The NP/PA would see adult referrals independently and under physician supervision, assuming responsibility for rheumatology care commensurate with his/her experience, training, and confidence. We are prepared to hire immediately and to begin the on-boarding and insurance credentialing. An experienced NP or PA is desirable, but we would consider a recent graduate with a strong background and an ability to work confidently and independently. Office hours are Monday-Friday, without nights, weekends, or hospital duties. Full-time is desirable, but four days (32 hours) per week would be considered. The NP/PA will be an employee of Prima CARE, but will function as a member the Rheumatology practice of Dr. Mark Fisher, working alongside Dr. Fisher and his current Nurse Practitioner. The candidate must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and hold a valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate and Massachusetts controlled substances registration. Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills are essential. Prima CARE uses eClinicalworks as its EMR. The Rheumatology practice has a large referral base and has the full support of Prima CARE lab, imaging facilities, specialists, and an Infusion Center, all on-site and readily available. Compensation is competitive, with benefits that include health insurance, malpractice coverage, a 401K retirement plan, a CME allowance, and vacation. Fall River is in a lovely part of New England, surrounded by city, waterfront, suburban, or farmland communities. Twenty minutes from Providence, 45-60 minutes from Boston, and 30 minutes from Cape Cod and Newport, Fall River is an attractive location with a multitude of choices for home and recreation.
