Position: Assisted Living Worker (ALW)Reports to: General ManagerJob Status: Casual, Onsite position with overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, available Monday through Sunday. Start Date: As soon as possibleLocation: 13855 68th Ave Surrey, BC V3W2G9Pay: $18.50- $22.50 /hrMust Have: Proof of immunizations, including Flu and COVID-19 Please note that hours of work, days off, and work area may change based on operational needs and collective agreement. Your Day to Day: Deliver care aligned with each resident’s Personal Service Plan (PSP) and document services provided. Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, dressing, mobility, toileting, and eating support. Monitor resident well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Observe medication compliance and report concerns (no administration required). Support meal service, including tray delivery, intake monitoring, and dining assistance. Conduct routine wellness checks focusing on nutrition, hydration, and overall condition. Promote resident dignity, independence, and privacy in all interactions. Respond to emergencies, call bells, and participate in safety protocols and drills. Follow infection prevention and control standards, including proper PPE use and hygiene practices. What You Bring to the Table: Resident Care Aide Certificate Medication Management for Assisted Living Worker Certificate Valid CPR and First Aid certification Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certification TB clearance and up-to-date immunizations Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and respond calmly under pressure Nice to Have: Experience working in assisted living or senior care Empathy and strong understanding of seniors’ needs Cultural sensitivity and professionalism Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment Don't hold back!- apply today, even if you do not tick every skills list.
