Warehouse Yard Laborer

Job Overview: Key Accountabilities: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and laydown yard Supply crews with daily material requests. Pick up /deliver materials as needed Load and unload reel and flatbed trailers. Secure loads as required by DOT. Maintain a clean warehouse/laydown yard Working long hours in all types of weather Inventory on regular basis Will operate Forklift Other duties as assigned by management. Employees will be subjected to outside weather conditions Employees could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, heat and humidity. The noise level in the work environment can often be loud The employee is frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving traffic in the work environment Warehouse/ Yard Laborers must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of related experience Knowledge of CATV construction and parts a plus. Knowledge of fiber optic construction and parts a plus. Forklift experience required. Ability to stop, stand and lift up to 50lbs. Clean driving record. The Warehouse Yard Laborer is responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse and laydown yard while supplying crews with necessary materials. Duties include operating a forklift, loading and unloading trailers, and performing regular inventory counts.

Candidates must have at least one year of related experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A clean driving record and forklift experience are required, with knowledge of CATV or fiber optic construction considered a plus.
