Role Description The Experienced Epoxy Flooring Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Whitby, ON. This position is responsible for preparing concrete surfaces, mixing and applying epoxy and related floor systems, and ensuring installations meet quality, safety, and manufacturer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include surface grinding, shot blasting, patching and leveling, installing epoxy and urethane cement systems, and assisting with concrete repairs and protective coatings. The installer will read project plans, follow system-driven installation procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and coordinate with site supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule. The role also involves maintaining a clean work area, adhering to health and safety regulations, and representing the company professionally on customer sites. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Hardwood Flooring and Hardwood installation, including surface preparation and finishing. Candidates should possess skills in Carpet and general Flooring installation, with experience in measurement, cutting, and fitting. Candidates should possess skills in Ceramic tile work and related hard-surface flooring applications. Proven experience installing epoxy and other resinous flooring systems in commercial or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of concrete preparation methods (grinding, shot blasting, scarifying) and moisture/chemical-resistant systems. Ability to interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications, and follow system-based installation procedures. Comfort working in active facilities, with adherence to safety protocols, PPE use, and site rules. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in varied environmental conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Whitby and project sites in the GTA. Previous experience in industrial/commercial flooring or construction trades is strongly preferred.

The installer is responsible for preparing concrete surfaces and applying epoxy and urethane cement flooring systems. They must ensure all installations meet quality and safety specifications while coordinating with site supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

Candidates must have proven experience in industrial epoxy flooring and concrete preparation methods like shot blasting and grinding. A valid driver's license and the physical ability to perform heavy labor in varied environmental conditions are required.
