Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work site environment Noisy Work setting Metal product fabrication industry Sheet metal shop Tasks Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Document work completed Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Equipment and machinery experience Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Metal forming or shaping operations experience Bending Cutting machine Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Manual dexterity Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Team player Employment terms options Evening Day Financial benefits Group insurance benefits Life insurance Other Benefits Free parking available Learning/training paid by employer On-site recreation and activities Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Work Term: Permanent Work Language: French Hours: 40 hours per week
