Senior Tax Advisor – Permanent Position About the Role We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join a well‑established and rapidly growing organization. This role involves managing indirect tax compliance in Canada and the United States, overseeing tax audits, and providing strategic recommendations. Reporting to the Tax Director, the ideal candidate will contribute to optimizing tax processes and enhancing compliance practices. Responsibilities Prepare and review Canadian corporate tax returns (T2, T5013, and related forms) Participate in the preparation of quarterly tax provisions and year‑end adjustments Monitor and reconcile tax accounts in the general ledger Calculate tax installments and prepare tax‑related journal entries Support the management of corporate tax audits and indirect tax audits Follow up with tax authorities and coordinate responses to government inquiries Review certain indirect tax returns and support accounting teams with compliance obligations Perform ad hoc tax analyses and contribute to various special projects Stay up to date on legislative changes and assess their impact on the organization Collaborate with internal finance teams and external advisors as needed Profile Sought CPA designation with a Master’s degree in Taxation or equivalent training Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate tax compliance Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax regulations Experience with tax software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Bilingual in French and English to collaborate with stakeholders in Canada and the United States Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and rigor in managing tax files What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, disability) Retirement savings plan (RRSP) with employer contribution Attractive vacation and personal leave program Flexible, results‑oriented work environment To apply, please send your résumé to [email protected] and include three reasons why this position aligns with your profile.
