Progressive Cargo Inc. is seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Executive / Business Development Representative to expand our footprint across North America. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building long-term client relationships, and unlocking new opportunities in the logistics industry, with a focus on Bulk Liquid Transportation, Project Cargo, and Heavy Haul services. We are looking for a self-starter with a proven track record in freight forwarding, bulk liquids, and specialized cargo handling. If you bring an existing book of business, thrive on winning new accounts, and excel in consultative selling—this role is for you. The Details Location: Flexible (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite depending on performance) Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 base + Competitive Commission Commission: 6–8% of gross profit Technology: Company laptop Vacation: 2 weeks Travel: Minimal, as required for client development & trade events Key Responsibilities Drive sales of bulk liquid, heavy haul, and project cargo logistics solutions across North America. Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Progressive Cargo’s growth objectives. Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts. Prepare accurate rate proposals and negotiate freight solutions tailored to client needs. Represent Progressive Cargo at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Monitor market trends and competitive activity, adapting strategies for growth. Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver regular sales forecasts. Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless customer service and retention. Qualifications 3–5 years of proven success in freight forwarding, bulk liquid transportation, project cargo, or heavy haul logistics sales. College diploma or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, or logistics. Strong understanding of transportation, bulk liquid, and over-dimensional/project cargo solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management tools. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and deliver results without supervision. Strong financial and margin-based selling skills. Existing book of business preferred.
