Senior Full-Stack Developer — Projekt Network $110k–$145k CAD Remote (Montreal timezone) · Full-time We're hiring a senior developer who can work across a Django API, a Next.js web app, and React Native mobile apps — and who wants to own the AI features that sit on top of them. Projekt Network is a professional network for the construction and skilled trades: part social network, part job marketplace, part project-portfolio showcase. It's live, it has real users, and it ships to web, iOS and Android. WHAT YOU'D DO Build features end to end, across all three surfaces. Debug the things that only break in production. And take ownership of our AI layer — an assistant that coaches tradespeople on their careers and surfaces relevant people and jobs from our own data, plus AI-generated resumes and job descriptions. WHAT WE NEED · 5+ years professional development experience · Strong Python/Django (incl. DRF) and strong React/TypeScript · Solid PostgreSQL — schema design and query optimization · Production experience building on LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini). We care that you've shipped something real and dealt with prompt design, bad output, streaming, latency and cost — not research credentials · Legal authorization to work in Canada (we can't sponsor visas) Nice to have: React Native/Expo, Google Cloud, RAG or tool calling. Requires over 5 years of professional experience with strong proficiency in Python/Django, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Must have production experience with LLM APIs and legal authorization to work in Canada.
