We are a company that prides ourselves on living up to our core values: * We work hard, we work smart * We build lasting value * We are creative and innovative * We have fun * We care * We act with integrity About the role Reporting to the Site Manager, the Assistant Site Manager supports rental operations by improving our tenants’ living experience at Prokey managed properties. This role includes managing tenant and vendor files; effectively communicating with tenants via email and our tenant portal; addressing tenant concerns in a timely and professional manner; coordinating with maintenance, marketing, and finance teams; and performing move-in / move-out inspections. The role includes addressing minor repairs in collaboration with the maintenance team, managing lease renewals and extensions, and fostering strong relationships with tenants. Hourly Pay Range: $25.00-$28.00/hr (position may be salaried) What you’re great at * Excellent communication and listening skills. * Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. * Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. What you’ll be doing * Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the properties, including availability of suite types, layouts, common areas and amenities of the building. * Organizing and maintaining files in our records systems. * Conducting move-ins and move-outs & inspecting vacant suites. * Responding to tenant inquiries and emails. * Responding to maintenance requests, ensuring that all pending requests are resolved promptly. * Building relationships with tenants. * Additional property management duties as assigned. What we’re looking for * Experience in property management, service or hospitality industry. * Experience in scheduling or administrative roles. * Property, leasing or building management experience is an asset. * UBC-Sauder Rental Property Management Course is an asset. * Experience with Yardi software is an asset. * Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required. * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
