PAL Aerospace is proud to provide Air Ambulance services to our communities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Operating the King Air 350 PAL offers end-to-end solutions including selection and assignment of aircrews, maintenance, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring aircraft and pilots are always available as needed To support our mission, PAL Aerospace is looking for a Training Manager to join our Air Ambulance team in St. John’s, NL or Goose Bay, NL where no two days are the same! Roles and Responsibilities: * Responsible to conduct Air Ambulance pilot training including ground school, simulator training, line indoctrination and line checks * Training schedule coordination * Accountable for the maintenance and development of Air Ambulance Standards and SOPs * Work closely with management team to establish training goals and objectives * Provide mentorship to team members * Oversight of Electronic Training Record (ETR) system, continual lesson plan and syllabus development * Liaison for NL Air Ambulance pilot training * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Must have experience on King Air 200 or King Air 350 * Valid ATPL * 2500 hours total time * 500 multi-engine hours * 1000 PIC hours * Instrument Rating * Multi-engine Rating * Ability to work in a cohesive team environment * Experience in a leadership or supervisory role would be considered an asset * Excellent organizational skills * Effective time management and planning skills * Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills * Knowledge of Aerospace operations * Experience in document management and developing new procedures Great benefits At PAL Aerospace, we know that compensation isn’t the only factor in choosing a company.
