Role Description The Industrial Electrician role at ProVolta Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Trois-Rivières, QC. The Industrial Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities, including power distribution, control panels, motors, and automation systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, interpreting schematics and technical drawings, and ensuring all work complies with ESA standards and safety regulations. The role also involves collaborating with project managers and other trades, supporting commissioning activities, and documenting work performed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control circuits, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of motors, drives, PLCs, and automation equipment in industrial environments. Thorough understanding of electrical codes, ESA and safety regulations, and safe work practices in industrial settings. Ability to use electrical testing and measurement tools, hand and power tools, and related equipment accurately and safely. Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship completion as an Industrial Electrician; provincial electrician license or eligibility is an asset. Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work on-site, adapt to changing project needs, and occasionally work extended hours as required.
