We are hiring an Industrial Painterto join our Team! Key Responsibilities Operates paint equipment and utilizes supplies. Mixes and applies basic and industrial paint as per specifications. Measurepaint thickness as per specifications. Inspectfinal product, ensuring conformance to specifications. Performdaily maintenance and minor repairs of painting equipment. Maskskids for sandblasting and painting. Clean and prepares skids for painting. Packageskids for shipping. Performrigging techniques as per industry standards. Operateforklift and overhead cranes to transfer skids and packages throughout shop. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience painting and/or sandblastingin an industrial capacity. Knowledge of industrial coatings and painting techniques. Ability to read technical drawings and coating specifications. Familiarity with coating inspection methods and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and workmanship. Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. Commitment to safety and quality Previous experience with water based, epoxy paint and primer mixing requirements an asset. Previous experience with rigging and overhead cranes is an asset. Valid forklift certification is an asset. Additional Details Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation.
