Journeyman Pipefitter – Greater Toronto Hamilton Area Company Overview PTW Energy Services is a leading industry solutions provider delivering construction, fabrication, and maintenance services across Canada and the United States. Role Summary PTW is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. This role is ideal for a certified tradesman ready to take on a leadership position, guiding crews and ensuring safe, high-quality execution of piping projects. You will play a key role in interpreting drawings, coordinating field activities, and setting standards for safety and craftsmanship on-site. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support a crew of pipefitters to ensure safe and efficient project execution • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installation and repair work • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site • Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to crew members • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites Qualifications / Requirements • Journeyman Pipefitter certification • Minimum 5+ years of pipefitting experience • Proven leadership and communication skills • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork • Valid First Aid certification • ESC Fall Protection certification • H2S Alive certification • Valid Class 5 driver's license • Must be local Job Details • Shift: Monday to Friday • Overtime: Available occasionally • Travel: Local position (no travel required) Compensation & Benefits • Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits • RRSP program • Apprenticeship and training reimbursement programs • Starter toolkit provided • Safety training and PPE provided • Opportunities for advancement within the organization Why Work at PTW • Strong culture built on Care, Excellence, and Passion • Stable workload with ongoing industrial projects • Real opportunities for career growth and leadership development • Safety-first environment where tradespeople are respected and supported • Employee recognition programs including Quarterly Appreciation Awards and Safety Rewards

Exigences

Requires a Journeyman Pipefitter certification with at least 5 years of experience and proven leadership skills. Must possess valid First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, H2S Alive certifications, and a Class 5 driver's license.
