Project Manager Ontario Company Overview PTW is a leading industry solutions provider delivering construction, fabrication, and maintenance services across Canada and the United States. We support major industrial sectors including oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power generation, pulp and paper, nuclear, and renewable energy industries. Role Summary PTW is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our team in Hamilton. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role acts as the primary client contact and is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of construction and maintenance projectsfrom estimating and planning through to execution and close-out. The Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and in alignment with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Champion safety leadership and support a zero-incident workplace culture Define project scope and establish cost and schedule baselines Develop and implement execution strategies and functional project plans Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies Manage project schedules, including changes and impacts to timelines Serve as the main communication link between internal teams and external clients Review bid documents, quantities, and estimates to identify discrepancies or omissions Support estimating efforts, including small branch estimates and proposal development Review drawings and specifications to determine scope, costs, and execution approach Represent PTW in client meetings, site visits, and pre-bid walkdowns Develop and maintain the Construction Execution Plan at a strategic level Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver scope in accordance with specifications Maintain strong client relationships throughout all project phases Chair project kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings Oversee construction execution to ensure alignment with design, budget, and schedule Track project performance, including forecasting, progress claims, and cost control Ensure effective project communication and coordination meetings are held regularly Manage change orders and project financial forecasting Monitor and control project documentation and records Complete post-project reviews and lessons learned reporting Support additional branch activities as required by the Area Manager Qualifications / Requirements Previous industrial construction and maintenance experience required Journeyperson Electrician (Inter-Provincial Red Seal), Engineer, PMP, or Instrumentation Technician/Mechanic considered an asset Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, civil, P&IDs, vendor drawings, and specifications Strong MS Office Skills And Experience With Scheduling Tools/software Strong leadership skills with a self-motivated, results-driven mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service focus with ability to meet client expectations Valid Canadian Driver's License with acceptable 3-year driver's abstract Strong electrical background with understanding of other construction disciplines Willingness to travel locally to job sites and occasionally overnight Compensation & Benefits $60-$70/hourbased on experience. Exigences

Candidates must have previous industrial construction and maintenance experience and a strong electrical background. Preferred qualifications include a Journeyperson Electrician Red Seal, Engineer, PMP, or Instrumentation Technician certification.
