Pulsar – Operations and Maintenance is a consortium created with AtkinsRéalis and Alstom to operate and maintain the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) in Montreal. Ultimately, the REM project will become one of the most extensive automated transportation networks in the world, with 67 kilometers of track and 26 stations. Born from the combined expertise of two major players in the transportation sector, Pulsar draws on proven know-how and experience both in Canada and internationally.

Install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair building electrical systems and equipment, including distribution panels, transformers, motors, lighting, controls, UPS systems, and generators. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, update electrical plans and maintenance records, verify contractor work, and complete inspection and repair reports and CMMS work orders.

Inspect and maintain railway tracks and corridor infrastructure, including snow and ice removal, vegetation and drainage control, and operation of specialized rail-road vehicles. Coordinate track access and safety protections with the control center, document inspections and work orders in the maintenance system, and support emergency response while following safety and quality procedures.
