Responsibilities Tasks Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted Repair cracks and holes Mix paint to desired colour and texture Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces

The painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces. They also advise consumers on color choices and install wallpaper.

Candidates should have a secondary school graduation certificate and 2 to 3 years of experience in painting. The role requires hands-on skills in surface preparation and application techniques.
