Responsibilities Assistance with personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Assist/ Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting Qualifications Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) and Alberta HCA Directory #. Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Ability to travel around location territory Access to Internet/mobile phone

The Health Care Aide provides personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship to clients in their homes. They are also responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders while maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates must hold a Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent and be registered in the Alberta HCA Directory. Current CPR/First Aid training and the ability to travel to client locations are also required.
