Qualicare Homecare Kamloops has immediate openings for Home support worker Job Summary The Home support worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Responsibilities Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting Qualifications Current clean Background Check or be willing to obtain one Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Ability to travel around location territory Access to Internet/mobile phone

The Home Support Worker provides personal care services, including meal preparation and housekeeping, to improve the quality of life for clients. They are also responsible for medication reminders, transporting clients, and maintaining accurate documentation of care.

Candidates must have a clean background check and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray. Additionally, they must have access to a mobile phone/internet and the ability to travel within the location territory.
