Montréal [Hybrid] AI-Native Python Developer

We are looking for an AI-Native Developer (Python / AI-ML) for one of our clients. Missions: -Experienced Python developer, expert in AI/ML and vibe coding, able to rapidly build innovative solutions with AI assistance while ensuring code quality, robustness and maintainability. -You will join the IT DevSecOps & AI department as an AI Python Developer. You will be responsible for developing, integrating and optimizing AI models for various business use cases. -You will work in agile mode, closely with Data Scientists, Solution Architects, and the business and IT teams of other divisions within the client's organization. You will play a key role in the industrialization and deployment of AI solutions into production. -As a vibe coding expert, you fully master generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate development while maintaining high quality standards. You are able to decompose complex problems into clear instructions for AI tools and to validate and optimize the generated code. RESPONSIBILITIES • Participation in workshops with IT/business teams and Data Scientists • Development and optimization of AI/ML models for business use cases • Integration and deployment of models into production (APIs, microservices) • Expert use of vibe coding to speed up development without compromising quality • Implementation of MLOps pipelines (training, versioning, monitoring) • Automated testing and validation of models (performance, robustness, bias) • Detailed technical documentation (code, models, APIs, reusable prompts) • Performance optimization (latency, costs, scalability) • Technology watch and recommendations on new AI techniques • Sharing of vibe coding best practices with the team Profile REQUIREMENTS Mandatory • At least 5 years of experience in Python development with a strong focus on AI/ML • Demonstrated experience in vibe coding with productive use of AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) • Expertise in ML/DL frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain • Solid experience with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, agents) • Proficiency with Cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) • Knowledge of MLOps technologies and CI/CD pipelines for AI models • Skills in data engineering (preprocessing, feature engineering, data pipelines) • Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL, Vector DBs) • Experience in API development (FastAPI, Flask, REST) • Good knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Strong skills in testing and code quality (pytest, unittest, code coverage) • Knowledge of version control tools (Git, GitLab/GitHub) Competencies: • Strong critical mindset towards AI-generated code • Ability to decompose complex problems and design effective prompts • Intellectual curiosity and active technology watch on AI • Pragmatism: ability to balance development speed and quality • Rigour in code validation, refactoring and optimization • Autonomy and ability to be a driving force for proposals • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively • Agile and adaptive mindset • Ability to share knowledge and best practices with the team Nice to Have • Experience in Computer Vision and/or NLP LANGUAGE: English: fluent (mandatory) — the assignment takes place in an English-speaking environment.

Develop, integrate, and optimize AI/ML models for various business use cases within a DevSecOps & AI department. Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate development and implement MLOps pipelines for production deployment.

Requires at least 5 years of Python experience with expertise in ML/DL frameworks and LLMs. Proficiency in cloud platforms, containerization, and a strong ability to use AI-assisted coding tools is mandatory.
