AWS Architect

Job Title: AWS Architect Location: Markham, Ontario L6G 0G1, Canada Position Type: Fulltime/Contract Required Skills & Experience: - 12+ years in IT infrastructure, with 6+ years hands-on AWS architecture and operations in enterprise/managed-services environments. AWS Professional-level certification (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional) strongly preferred. Deep, hands-on expertise across VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM (execution), Event Bridge, CloudWatch, and AWS-native backup/DR. Strong Terraform / IaC engineering — state management, modular design, pipeline-driven deployment

The role involves designing and managing AWS architecture and operations within enterprise or managed-services environments. Key focus areas include implementing infrastructure as code and ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Candidates must have over 12 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on AWS architecture. A professional-level AWS certification and deep expertise in Terraform and various AWS services are strongly preferred.
