Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd. is seeking a Countertop Processor to join our growing team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building quality products, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. As a Countertop Processor, you will play an important role in the production of custom laminate countertops while also supporting warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in producing quality work and meeting customer expectations. Key Responsibilities * Cut, cap, and build laminate countertops according to customer specifications and quality standards. * Prepare countertop products and materials for installation and delivery. * Operate tools, machinery, and equipment used in countertop fabrication and assembly. * Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including handling incoming and outgoing materials. * Accurately store, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse. * Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. * Follow company safety procedures and operational standards. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or building materials environment. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, cutting, and assembling products. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. * Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and regularly lifting materials up to 100 lbs. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) * Experience cutting and working with wood, laminate, countertops, or similar materials. * Knowledge of countertop fabrication processes and materials such as laminate, MDF, and particle board. * Ability to read plans, drawings, and take precise measurements. * Experience with shipping and receiving operations. * Forklift certification. * Air brake certification. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
