Role And Responsibilities Using available tools, allocate tasks and assign human and material resources to meet targets established by management (targets may evolve over time): 99% On-Time Performance - 97.5% Service Level - 4,500 Picks per Day - 20 Picks per Hour per Employee 48 Hours for Receiving / 72 Hours for Put-away Supervise employees’ work on the floor and monitor attendance and punctuality. Conduct regular floor walks to ensure quality, productivity, compliance with procedures, cleanliness, and safety. Ensure employees continuously maintain a clean and organized warehouse (locations, equipment, workstations, receiving/shipping areas, debris removal). Lead by example by maintaining a clean and organized supervisors’ workstation. Monitor performance indicators and ensure employees meet targets established by management. Identify performance gaps and operational issues. Meet with employees for disciplinary actions when required and recognize employees who meet or exceed expectations. Document all actions appropriately. When necessary, review and adjust targets with the Director, providing justification for changes. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety (H&S) requirements and manage documentation and investigations in the event of workplace incidents. Anticipate operational needs in collaboration with the Workflow Coordinator. Ensure smooth transitions for shift start/end times, breaks, and lunch periods to avoid productivity losses. Support, motivate, and guide team members. Act as a technical resource for the team (training will be provided on all roles). Communicate objectives, priorities, and operational instructions clearly to employees. Prepare daily activity and performance reports. Lead weekly team meetings. Verify availability of equipment and required materials. Propose ideas for continuous improvement of operational processes. Keep senior management informed of ongoing labor relations matters. Review financial / targets results with the Director monthly review to identify opportunities. Manage payroll for your team (subject to Director review). Maintain and manage the ONWoperations@richelieu.com inbox. Conduct shift handover meetings with supervisors from the previous/next shift. Requirements Education in Administration, Inventory Management, Logistics, or another operations-related discipline, or equivalent work experience. 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. English (spoken and written) required. French considered an asset. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook and intermediate proficiency in Excel required. Forklift operator certification (training will be provided if not already certified). Strong leadership and communication abilities. Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
