We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Designer to join our Urban & Riverine Systems team on a full-time basis in our Toronto office. The successful candidate will support a variety of projects, including stormwater management, flood control, watershed modeling, and infrastructure design. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, planners, and clients. Duties: * Assist in the design and development of stormwater, drainage, and flood management systems * Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling for water resources projects * Prepare technical drawings, reports, and specifications using CAD and GIS software * Conduct site assessments, data collection, and analysis to support design recommendations * Work with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations * Support the preparation of permit applications and environmental documentation * Assist in cost estimation and construction documentation Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience in a consulting environment supporting linear infrastructure projects * Work experience with Microstation, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and SWMM * Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools * Experience with flow monitoring and rainfall data analysis * Experience with InfoWorks software would be an asset * Knowledge of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) * Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills * Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field, from an accredited post-secondary institution * Registered or eligible to apply for a P.Eng. license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
