Event Designer and Sales Professional

R5 Event Design is a multi-award winning special events Decor, Floral, & Lighting Production firm, specializing in designing and producing some of Canada’s most prestigious events. We are an established vibrant company, looking for motivated individuals with a passion for design and sales in this thriving sector of the hospitality industry. The position will require you to work directly with clients to design and execute their vision and build lasting relationships with industry professionals. Many events will include Weddings, Corporate Galas, Charity Fundraisers, Social and Private Events. Responsibilities The Job is: Mon-Fri - 10am-5pm Meeting with clients on weeknights and work weekends Work with Clients to Design and Create events Develop and Train on Sales & Design techniques Create Client Proposals Attend necessary industry social events Manage Event teams to ensure full event execution Meet Monthly Sales Quotas Qualifications Candidate must have atleast 2 years of event design experience. Strong communication & customer service skills Creative ability to tell stories and sell ideas Possess a solid work ethic with a drive to succeed towards building a career within the events industry Must be able to work well in a team environment Be self-motivated to sell and meet monthly sales quotas Be able to manage customer relation accounts Be able to work in a fast-paced environment Have strong problem solving skills and think quickly on your feet Be proficient in the use of basic computer knowledge (Google Workspace, Canva, Social Media Platforms, etc..) Must have access to your own vehicle Must be able to work weekends and long hours
