About the Opportunity The General Laborer will be involved in most aspects of our greenhouse production but is focused on tasks to maximize efficiency and yield, while quality standards are maintained. This role supports various stages of plant production and order fulfillment, maintains attention to detail, and ensures consistent performance through accurate and timely execution of tasks. Collaboration is essential, closely with supervisors to identify and address quality issues. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assisting with hand or automated seeding Planting plants or plugs by hand Hand sticking plant cuttings Spacing, grading, sorting, pinching, straightening, trimming, weeding and moving of plants Picking plants for orders, loading carts, stickering UPCs, sleeving Handing plants on irrigation lines Identifying quality issues to Greenhouse Supervisor Ensuring accuracy and efficiency while achieving productivity targets What You Bring Excellent people skills Adaptability self-directed organizational skills physically capable of manual labor Ability to push, pull and lift up-to 50lbs Detailed and goal orientated Punctuality Positive attitude Working in all weather conditions Basic understanding of plants is beneficial but not required Production experience, preferably greenhouse related. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs and working in all weather conditions. Previous production or greenhouse experience is preferred, along with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
