Sr. Salesforce Functional Lead

Location: Toronto- 4 days onsite Duration: 6 months to start; 37.5 Hrs/week Interview: 1 WebEx interview followed by 1 in-person interview Describe your department: Dynamic group of 40+ resources with 6 squads (1 PO, 1 tech lead, 1 functional lead, 1 functional designer, developers, QE) focusing on Salesforce and data driven integration tools. Teams are located mainly in Toronto and Montreal with some resources also in Vancouver. Project Name: Salesforce implementation used by personal and commercial banking sales and servicing teams What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? Salesforce: Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud The candidate needs strong Salesforce knowledge in order to be able to provide solutions and recommendations for that platform. Daily Responsibilities: Start the day by aligning with the squad and the PO on the daily work and blockers. Solution at a high level the business requirements and KT the solution to the squad (functional designers and developers) Refine requirements with PO and stakeholders Must-have Skills: 5+ years of experience working as a Functional Lead in Salesforce and 3+ years’ experience financial industry Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or related education Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale in a highly regulated, enterprise scale environments Deep understanding of banking workflows, customer and product lifecycle and financial compliance Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services cloud and integration with core banking systems and data lakes Nice-to-have Skillss: Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, confluence and DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings Ability to lead conversations with cross functional teams and engage effectively with executives, senior leaders and technical teams Salesforce certifications

The role involves providing high-level solutions for business requirements and transferring that knowledge to functional designers and developers. The lead will align daily with the squad and Product Owner to refine requirements and resolve blockers.

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead and at least 3 years in the financial industry. A degree in Engineering or a related field and deep expertise in Financial Services Cloud are required.
