Advantages Competitive base salary Comprehensive health and dental plan Employee and Family Assistance Program RRSP 3% Company match CPA dues support/Professional Development Courses On-site cafeteria and gym – Open 24 hours 3 weeks of paid vacation per year Duties & Responsibilities Reporting & Compliance: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare complex financial reports, manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, and assist in compiling consolidated financial statements Audit Support: Act as a key liaison for external auditors (Deloitte) and manage internal corporate audits, ensuring full compliance with SOX, Year-End, and government requirements Data Detective Work: Dive deep into large volumes of financial data to resolve loosely defined problems and verify that transactions make operational and structural sense Reconciliations & Postings: Manage general ledger integrity by preparing precise journal entries and reconciling complex sub-ledgers Cross-Functional Support: Cross-train across general, financial, and management accounting roles to maintain robust team coverage and support Qualifications Education: CPA Designation is preferred (CPA in progress, late-stage candidates, or international designations will be highly considered with relevant experience) Experience: Experience with a Big 4 or public accounting firm—specifically in external audit—is considered a strong asset. Manufacturing environment experience is a highly valued asset Technical Mastery: You must be "Outstanding" in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUPs, managing large datasets). Experience with OneStream and PowerBI is a strong asset; general ERP/AS400 savvy is beneficial. Soft Skills: You possess the emotional intelligence to challenge numbers, ask the right questions, and thrive in a deadline-driven, highly confidential environment Why Join?
