Position: Electromechanic Department: Maintenance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Location: 1600 Wellington St, Montreal, Quebec H3K 1V4 Company Description Ray-Mont Logistics is a dynamic organization focused on becoming the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products. Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a permanent full-time Electromechanic to join its vibrant team. The Electromechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various mechanical, electrical and electromechanical equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekends and overtime. Main Responsibilities: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and electromechanical equipment. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and electromechanical issues. Repairing and replacing defective mechanical and electrical components. Troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing appropriate corrective actions. Reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics. Performing electrical installations, repairs and maintenance as required. Assisting with the troubleshooting of PLCs, controls and industrial automation systems. Conducting preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures. Inspecting equipment to identify potential issues and recommending necessary repairs or improvements. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation. Assisting with parts identification, ordering and inventory management when required. Following all safety procedures and ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations. Collaborating with the maintenance team and other departments to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Qualifications & Skills Hold a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics. Experience in electromechanical maintenance is an asset. Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical and electromechanical equipment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs (PEP). Knowledge of PLCs and industrial controls is an asset. Knowledge of welding is an asset. Must possess their own toolbox. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is an asset. Able to lift up to 60 pounds comfortably and work at heights. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and exhibit professionalism and respect towards colleagues and external suppliers. Work Environment: Must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions, in Montreal, QC.
