Senior Backend Engineer

NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL * Testing: Vitest, Jest * CI/CD: GitHub Actions * Cloud:AWS * Monitoring: Dynatrace WHAT WILL YOU DO? * Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS and TypeScript, architecting scalable APIs that power our platform * Design, build, and maintain reusable component libraries and modules that scale across backend applications * Contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions, performance optimization, and system design * Help define and champion development best practices, leading by example and elevating team excellence * Own complex deliverables across the complete development lifecycle, from concept to production * Collaborate with the team on database design, API contracts, and technical implementation details * Contribute to DevOps and infrastructure improvements, optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), deployment processes, and monitoring (Dynatrace) to enable faster, more reliable releases * Own operational excellence, ensure SLAs are met or exceeded, assist with incident response, and continuously improve our operational posture. We treat every incident as a learning opportunity * Drive automation and tooling, reduce operational overhead by building systems that improve observability, enable proactive monitoring, and scale efficiently * Collaborate across teams to build and establish tools and processes that empower everyone to make customers successful * Be comfortable being part of an on-call rotation, driving and supporting incident remediation, and recommending and implementing improvements WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
