Cleaner - Permanent Full Time

This position is full-time and would require you to work some weekends. A typical schedule would be to work 4 days per week and every other weekend. This offer is for an existing vacant position within the organization. Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner • General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping • Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies • Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property • Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends • Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction • Perform other duties as assigned What we offer to employees: • The base salary for this position is $37,500 per annum • Recognition awards for years of service • Opportunity for career development • Annual holiday parties & summer BBQ’s • Extensive and ongoing training programs Requirements • 1-2 years related experience • Customer service skills • A pleasant demeanour • Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc) • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Ability to perform in a team environment To apply, please send your resumes to [email protected] We thank all those who apply, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. The cleaner is responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning of common areas, amenity spaces, and vacant suites within the apartment building. They must also report any safety hazards or deficiencies to the Resident Manager and maintain the exterior curb appeal of the property.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of related experience and possess strong customer service and communication skills. The role requires the physical ability to lift and push heavy objects and the flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends.
